The Moon...
So what’s with a unusual, not-your-type, low-contrasting picture on blog!?? yeah..yeah.. I know I am one of those who always, believe in taking out colours on a black background or subliming ends into a blackness, like as if into nothingness. Yet, this picture is very important for me. For years it shall remind me of all crazy things that I have done in last few weeks of my life. This particular morning was awesome! Infact awesome is not the word.
It marks the moment of agony, of seperation; from one I have loved most. It marks the sunrise, of a life, tap-dancing on good ol’ memories and it marks the morning of sacrifices. Ironically, it makes me happy. Yeah.. I am still high on life.
This particular morning, after a sleepless night and night long blabbering, I was getting dressed up in pajamas at 4:30 am in morning, so that I could sneak out with her from the closing-in walls of city life, society and reality.
We did sneak out. me with my car and she with her cam. And both of us, with unlimited happiness and freedom.
We went for a long-long drive. Pobably all around the city doing nothing, but telling each other, how much are we going to miss each other, this being the last meeting. We clicked some pictures, not ours, but of moments which are not going to come back anymore. This is one of those priceless ones. I can give anything, literally anything, to live it back!
Giggles, intertwined hands and hearts, wishes, dreams, love, music, humming engines and flash-click noises from camera. Perfect! [Close my eyes and click! It’s gonna stay here for long time]
That afternoon she left. We were soaked with tears, but with a content deep inside hearts, that yes, for once in this ironical life; we got a chance to be with each other. to be “of” each other.
She has left, but the memories are still fresh. And here is one of the best ones! Now on this blog; will remind me of all the sleepless nights and early morning and late night drives!
Whats so striking about this picture is the “moon”. Amidst chaotic life, there it is, still making you feel serene. Just like her. Thats exactly what she does to me… makes me calm and serene. But it’s morning, and I know that in the glare of the sun, my limited vision will loose her sight. Nevertheless, I shall wait for my night once again… even if it means, waiting for long or waiting for ever.
Miss you.
