Calm

Calm

Listening to this since morning today. It brings a certain calm and peace that was absent for the whole week.

I say, I have learnt we have no control over life, and that I need to be patient and then the first thing I do is “plan” and set “timelines”. The sheer dichotomy and irony of that.

We wrestle with nature, seek love all around,
Yet love is not a thing to be found.
It reveals itself when we seek it least,
Creeping upon us, a stealthy beast.

When lost in life, we let ourselves go,
And sink into depths we never did know.
Don’t seek the shape that you’ve wrought,
Love is a drifting cloud, a form sought not.

Fleeting or permanent, a tempest to cross,
Warm as an embrace, yet wrenching as a loss.

Would it be so bad if I just died today? Would I regret anything in life? When I ask that question, I am a happy man, not because I have everything, but because I feel content with everything I have.
